About this cartoon:

"God Went Bowling" is a song written by Terry Scott Taylor and performed by the Swirling Eddies on their 1994 cd Zoom Daddy.  It's a kind of theological polka, complete with galloping oompahs, a cacophonous rock combo, and inimitably snide vocal delivery.

I took the lyrics, combined them with images from Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel ceiling, poured in some ink and stirred these ingredients vigorously with a rapidograph.
